British rockers VEGA have announced a couple of UK headline dates for December including a visit to Cannock’s new live music venue The Station on Friday December 2nd! Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet it seems following a successful support stint with Magnum earlier this year, they will be also supporting on their upcoming winter dates including a return to Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall on December 10th.

Legendary UK AOR-ster’s FM have re-recorded their debut album Indiscreet to mark its 30th anniversary. It will feature updated but faithful versions of their classics plus seven bonus tracks – It’s available for pre-order now from the FM web-shop and it’s official release date is October 28th. The band are also playing shows to celebrate this monumentous anniversary including one at The River Rooms in Stourbridge on the 30th October. The band have signed a deal with Frontiers Records and the album will get a full official release via the label on November 4th – all pre-orders will be honoured by the band and the album will be on sale at all the upcoming live shows.

Hard Rock Hell X have mad their final announcement for this Novembers Festival which includes Vixen and Bernie Marsden.

The latest Hartmann album Shadows and Silhouettes is going to be released through Pride and Joy Records on September 30th. Keep an eye out for a forthcoming video for the track ‘When Your Mama Was A Hippie’.

Respected vocalist and Threshold frontman Damian Wilson has just released his solo album Built For Fighting – tracks include first single ‘Thrill Me’, ‘When I Was Young’, ‘Fire’ and ‘Written In Anger’.

Lynam will release their new album Halfway To Hell on September 16th via Lion’s Pride Music.

Melodic sleazers Bulletrain will release their new album What You Fear The Most via AOR Heaven on September 30th. Tracks to be featured include ‘Love Lies’, ‘Memory Lane’ and ‘Wet, Tired and Lonely’.

Seventh Wonder have released an official audio video for their track ‘Welcome To Mercy Falls’. It’s taken from their live album Welcome To Atlanta 2014 which is released through Frontiers Records on September 23rd.

German melodic rockers Fair Warning will release their new album Pimp Your Past on October 28th via SPV/Steamhammer. This album sees the band returning to their first three albums and re-recording some of those songs, so it’s a sort of best of album. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Longing For Love’, ‘Out On The Run’, ‘Burning Heart’ and ‘Rain Song’.

Tyketto return in October with their new album Reach and they have released the title track as the first single and video, you can crank it up below. The album will be unleashed via Frontiers Records on the 14th of October.

Johnny Gioeli and Hardline also return in October with a new album entitled Human Nature. You can check out the first single/video for the track ‘Where Will We Go From Here’ below. The full album will be released on Frontiers Records on October 14th.

Irish rockers The Answer will release their brand new album Solas On October 28th through Napalm records. You can check out the track ‘Beautiful World’ below, this track will be available for free download when you pre-order the album.

Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper release a brand new album Walking In The Shadows the first since 1987’s Rock You To Hell on September 23rd.

Pretty Maids have returned with a new music video for the song ‘Face The World’ which you can enjoy below. This comes ahead of their new album Kingmaker which will be released on the 4th of November on Frontiers Records. For me this track sees the band going in a softer melodic rock direction in comparison to their more melodic metal output of recent times, so it’ll be interesting to hear what the overall sound of the album is!

Winger’s John Roth and Strangeways’s Terry Brock team up for Roth Brock Project. Their self-titled debut album will be released on November 4th through Frontiers Records. It will include the following songs ‘Young Gun’, ‘If That’s What It Takes’, ‘I Don’t Know Why’ and ‘Fighter’.

Inglorious and Last In Line have announced a co-headline UK tour in November. This includes a show at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton on November 30th.

Steve Overland will release his latest solo album Contagious on October 21st through Escape Music. It features guest apperances from Steve’s FM band mate Jem Davis, Magnum ivory tinkler Mark Stanway and guitarist Tommy Denander. Track set for inclusion are ‘Easy on Me’, ‘Wildest Dreams’, ‘Define Our Love’ and ‘Back Where I Belong’.

The sixth album from NIVA – Atmospherical will be released on AOR Heaven this October 28th. This album sees the band move away from their softer AOR centric sound into a heavier melodic metal direction. The band stating “It rocks harder, it’s more riff based and the keyboards are less prominent”. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Deja-Vu’, ‘Dressed To Kill’ and ‘Forbidden Lover’.

British AOR rockers Angels Or Kings are back with a new line-up and a new album Go Ask The Moon which blasts off on October 30th through AOR Heaven. It will include the tracks ‘Ancient Fires’, ‘No Alibi’ and ‘No More Faith To Lose’.

Rock Candy Records have a new batch of re-mastered albums for you toc check out right now. They are RTZ’s debut album Return to Zero which saw Boston men Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau teaming up again for this cult album. The label have unleahsed a trio of TKO albums Let It Roll, In Your Face and Below The Belt. Finally is Wrathchild America and their Climbin’ The Walls album.

Graham Bonnet releases his latest album The Book on November 4th through Frontiers Records. The blah states the songs hark back to Bonnet’s hey day signature sound with the likes of Alcatraz and Rainbow. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Into the Night’, ‘Dead Man Walking’, ‘The Dance’ and ‘Where Were You’. The album comes with a bonus CD of re-recorded classics like ‘Stand In Line’, ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’, ‘Night Games’ and ‘Eyes Of The World’. Bonnet is also on the road in the UK this November including a set at Hard Rock Hell X in North Wales and a headline show at The River Rooms in Stourbridge on the 9th of November.

Swede’s Mad Invasion have released a video for their track ‘Hold On’ and I’m really enjoying it, definitely one for melodic rockers to check out.

Modern melodic rockers Degreed have just announced they have signed with Gain/Sony Music for their upcoming fourth album.

Lorraine Lewis’s Femme Fatale have released their long awaited second album One More For The Road on FNA Records. It was recorded by the original band members back in 1989/90 but has now finally been released.

Labyrinth are working on their comeback album which is slated for release through Frontiers Records in 2017.

Black Country legend Glenn Hughes will release his new solo album (his first in 8 years) Resonate through Frontiers Records on November 4th. It promises to see Hughes back in full on rock mode with a classic rock sound many of his long time fans want to hear from him. It will include the tracks ‘My Town’, ‘Let It Shine’, ‘How Long’ and ‘When I Fall’. Hughes will also be touring hard later this year including a show at Hard Rock Hell in North Wales and a show at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton on November 9th.

AOR Boulevard Records have released Love/Hate Before The Blackout a collection of demo’s recorded in 1986/87. Tracks included are ‘Date With Fate’, ‘I’ve Got To Dream’, ‘Skid Row Gypsy’ and ‘Love Burns’.

British rockers Doomsday Outlaw have signed a multi album deal with Frontiers Records. They will release their second album and first for the label during 2017.
