Soul rock singer Jessie Galante has signed with Italian label Tanzan Music with an album due for release in May. I’ll give more details once I hear them!

Place Vendome have released an official audio video for the track ‘Close To The Sun’ which you can enjoy by following the link below. Frontiers Records have recently released the album of the same name as this track!

It’s been a long time coming but Quiet Riot will release their new album Road Rage on April 21st through Frontiers Records. Their new vocalist Seann Nicols is the voice you’ll hear in this album. It’s been eleven years since the last new music from the Riot, so I’m sure lots of melodic hard rock fans will be looking forward to this one. Tracks to be included are ‘Let It Go’, ‘I Don’t Need You Anymore’, ‘Empty Rooms’ and ‘The Seeker’. Here’s an official audio video for you to check out – it’s for the track ‘The Seeker’

Italian AOR act Lionville have released a music video for their track ‘Bring Me Back Our Love’ which you can check out here. It’s from their recently released album A World Of Fools on Frontiers Records.

Ted Poley and Steve Brown’s Tokyo Motor Fist have unleashed another official audio video from their recently released debut album. It’s for the Ballad ‘Love’ check it out right here.

Frontiers Records plan to release a series of live album packages recorded at the Frontiers Festival. The first to get the treatment is Treat – it’s titled The Road More or Less Travelled – Live in Milano and will be available in both audio and visual formats. It’s slated for release on April 21st! Songs that were featured in the set include ‘Do Your Own Stunts’, ‘We Own The Night’, ‘Roar’ and ‘World Of Promises’. Here’s a taste of what to expect a live video of the track ‘Ready For The Taking’.

Z Records have announced they are working with a new UK act named Rubicon – I have no idea who is in the band but they are been billed as AOR. More details as I get them.

Unruly Child have released another official audio video for the track ‘Someday, Somehow’, you can enjoy it below. It’s taken from the band’s latest album Can’t Go Home which is out now via Frontiers Records.

In related news Unruly Child will release their special Reigning Frogs box set collection via Frontiers Records on April 21st. It features five hard to get or out of print albums – 1998’s Waiting For The Sun which featured Kelly Hansen on vocals – The Basement Demo’sUCIII Worlds Collide and Down the Rabbit Hole which was independently released and a real collector’s item.

Adrenaline Rush return with a second album Soul Survivor which will be release via Frontiers Records on the 21st of April. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Love Like Poison’, ‘Stand My Ground’, ‘Break The Silence’ and ‘Wild Side’. You can check out their first video for the track ‘Love Like Poison’ below.

House of Lords have revealed their first official music video from their upcoming album Saint Of the Lost Souls which will be released on March 24th via Frontiers Records. You can watch ‘Harlequin’ below and it has a strong HOL sound so I’m sure established fans will be very happy!

Italian metal act Labyrinth will release their latest opus Architecture of God on April 21st via Frontiers Records. It will feature the tracks ‘Bullets’, ‘Still Alive’, ‘Someone Says’ and ‘Those Days’. Below you can check out their official audio video for the song ‘A New Dream’

Escape Music will be releasing the second album from Walk On Fire entitled Mind over Matter on April 21st. It features the tracks ‘Pleasure of Pain’, ‘Long Live Love’, ‘Wicked’ and ‘Price of Love’.

Axel Rudi Pell will release his latest album The Ballads V via SPV/Steamhammer on April 21st. The first digital single and video is ‘Love’s Holding On’ which features Bonnie Tyler duetting with Pell’s long standing vocalist Johnny Gioeli. The album also features an interesting cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘I See Fire’ which was written for the film ‘The Hobbit’.

New Italian melodic rockers Viana whom feature Alessandro Del Vecchio on lead vocals have released a lyric video for their track ‘Bad Signs’ and you can give that a listen below. It’s from their self-titled debut album which is released on March 24th via Street Symphonies.

Sleaze rockers Vain return with a new album entitled Rolling With The Punches It will be released on March 17th following a Pledge campaign. It includes the tracks ‘Deliver The Passion’, ‘Long Gone’, ‘Bury Some Pain’ and ‘Sacrifice’.

The recent run of AOR/Melodic Rock reunion club nights throughout the North West have made their way down to the Midlands. Organised and run by Rockageddon and featuring DJ Mark Alger they have announced they will have their first night at The Robin in Bilston on Friday 8th of September. The intention is of course to make these club nights a regular occurrence at the venue, but is dependent on attendance. So if these club nights appeal to you, it’s best to get involved and attend if you wish them to continue!

Night Ranger have released another official audio video this time for the track ‘Comfort Me’. This is from the bands forthcoming album Don’t Let Up which is out at the end of March via Frontiers Records.

Two classic British AOR acts are back on the road later this year – Airrace and Lionheart will be doing a co-headline tour which includes a show at The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton on December 1st.

Blondie are back this May 5th with the release of their new album Pollinator. You can check out the video for the first single from it ‘Fun’ below, enjoy!

Crazy Lixx release their latest album Ruff Justice through Frontiers Records on April 21st. They have released the first official audio video from it, so you can check out ‘XIII’ below.

Inglorious release their inventively titled second album II through Frontiers Records on the 12th of May. They have released their first promotional music video for the album for the track ‘I Don’t Need Your Loving’ – crank up this rather tasty track below.

Legendary AOR rockers Foreigner have announced a four date UK tour for November. Including a show at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on November 26th, support comes from Asia and John Parr. This tour was cancelled before tickets went on general sale - the official statement from the tour operator is the shows will be re-scheduled.

Brummie melodic hard rockers Daylight Robbery have unleashed a new video for the track ‘Paradise Is Lost’, which is taken from their second album Falling Back To Earth, check it out below!

Cult Swedish glam rockers Bai Bang are back with Rock Of Life their new album will be released via AOR Heaven on April 28th. It Includes the tracks ‘Crazy Night’, ‘Heart and Soul’ and ‘Stop Messing Around’.

New Swedish melodic rockers Rockett Love will release their debut album Grab The Rocket via AOR Heaven on the 28th of April. Tracks to be included are ‘Never Surrender’, ‘Rev it Up’ and ‘Rockett Love’.

Melodic Rock Records have announced they will release three albums worth of unreleased material from Arti Tisi. These three albums will all be available individually, and all have a different theme. New York City will be commercial melodic rockers and anthems, Back Again will have a harder, heavier edged collection of songs and The Reeperbahn will be a collection of the man’s more eclectic and diverse song writing including songs with a blues tone and out and out modern rock. These are all out on April 19th with pre-orders via the label website now.

Frontiers Records have signed Swede’s Ammunition which of course features former WIG WAM singer Age Sten Neilsen and Eclipse main man Erik Martensson. The label has tentatively announced a late summer release date for the second album from them. They are also taking part in Sweden’s Eurovision competition this year with their track ‘Wrecking Crew’.

It’s always awesome to hear news about new music from Canadian legends Harem Scarem who will release their latest opus United via Frontiers Records on May 12th. They will of course be appearing at this year’s Rockingham Festival in Nottingham. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Gravity’, ‘Bite The Bullet’, ‘Things I Know’ and ‘The Sky Is Falling’.

British classic rockers Snakecharmer will release their second album Second Skin via Frontiers Records on May 12th. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Sounds Like A Plan’, ‘That Kind Of Love’, ‘I’ll Take You As You Are’ and ‘Punching Above My Weight’.

Royal Hunt will release a dual CD/DVD live album on May 12th simply called 2016 via Frontiers Records. The track list will include ‘Army Of Slaves’, ‘Flight’, ‘Until The Day’ and ‘Half Past Loneliness’.

The new album from Warrant entitled Louder Harder Faster will be released through Frontiers Records on May 12th. The track list will include ‘Devil Dancer’, ‘Only Broken Heart’, ‘Faded’ and ‘Let It Go’. The band of course continues to feature Robert Mason on lead vocals.

Eclipse have released another official audio video, this time for the track ‘Jaded’ which is lifted from their soon to be released album Monumnetum. Enjoy!

NWOBHM heroes Tygers of Pan Tang have released a new music video for the feel-good rocker ‘Glad Rags’. It’s lifted from their new self-titled album that was released last year.
