UK rockers VEGA will release their fourth album in May on Frontiers Records. Who We Are was produced and mastered by Harem Scarem’s Harry Hess. The album will feature the tracks ‘If Not You’, ‘Nothing is Forever’, ‘Ignite’ and ‘Explode’. They are also touring the UK with Magnum in May which includes a solo headline show in London as well as a slot at this year’s Steelhouse Festival in South Wales.

Melodic Rock music label Frontiers Records celebrates its 20th Birthday this year. As part of this landmark anniversary Frontiers wish to get involved with a charity they support – please read the statement below,

The highly anticipated and way overdue new solo album from Ted Poley will take us Beyond The Fade this May. The album will be released on Frontiers Records and features Alessandro Del Vecchio as Co-Producer. Most the songs were written by Tom and James Martin (VEGA) and it will feature one of my favourite unreleased Martin Brother tracks ‘You Won’t See Me Cryin’ and there is also a duet with the awesome Issa on the track ‘The Perfect Crime’. I’m really looking forward to this album and it promises to be one of if not the best feel good album of the year!

Former Europe guitarist Kee Marcello has signed to Frontiers Records for his forthcoming solo record. It’s slated for a September release which coincides with live shows including one at The Robin in Bilston on September 22nd. A lot of people are presuming with Kee signing to Frontiers it will be a Eighties Europe throwback, personally I think this will be more in keeping with Kee’s other recent albums with a heavier, bluesier, guitar heavy feel. Still looking forward to it but not expecting prime time Europe!

Canadian Rock legend Lee Aaron will release her brand new album Fire and Gasoline on March 25th. Songs set for inclusion are ‘Bitter Sweet’, ‘Heart Fix’, ‘If You Don’t Love Me Anymore’ and ‘Find The Love’. The first promo video/Single is the track ‘Tom Boy’ which wrote for her daughter and her daughter and her friends also appear in the video. You can watch it below.

British Rockers The Treatment have released another official audio video for you to check out, Listen to ‘The Devil’ below. It’s taken from the band’s new album Generation Me out on Frontiers Records on the 18th of March.

Newcomers Shiraz Lane have released their first video for the track ‘Wake Up’ from their album For Crying Out Loud, Check it out below. The album is out on Frontiers Records in April.

AOR Boulevard Records will be re-releasing the self-titled debut from Fierce Heart. It will include three bonus tracks alongside original album songs ‘Out For Blood’, ‘Heroes’, ‘Never Gonna Cry’ and ‘Loose Lips’.

Captain Blackbeard have signed to American label Perris Records for the release of their forthcoming album It’s A Mouthful on March 25th.

Melodic Rock Records release the new album Here Comes The Flood from July Reign in late March. It features Carsten Lizard Schultz on vocals alongside American musician and principal song writer Sheldon Scrivner.

West Coast rockers Fab Box have released a new music video for the track ‘Unconditional’ enjoy it here! It’s taken from their new album 2 which I’m sure upon hearing the video will be on all soft rockers must buy lists!

MelodicRock Records will release the debut album Enjoy The Ride from Spaniards Showbiz in late March. Compared to Firehouse, Van Halen and Poison it should be an exciting release for melodic rockers.

Frontiers Records have announced the signing of Norwegian Metal band Withem for the release of their sophomore album The Unforgiving Road later this year.

The Defiants featuring Danger Danger alumni Paul Laine, Bruno Ravel and Rob Marcello will release their debut album through Frontiers Records in April. Tracks set for inclusion are ‘Love and Bullets’, ‘Waiting On A Heartbreak’, ‘Save Me Tonight’ and ‘That’s When I Stop Loving You’. Italian power metallers Trick Or Treat will release their new album Rabbits Hill pt.2 in the summer via Frontiers Records.

Manchester’s Mohawk Radio have released a new Single and video for the song ‘Two Million Heartbeats’. It’s available now digitally via I-Tunes and directly from the band on their official website. Check out the Vid below!

Rick Springfield release’s a new music video to mark the release of his brand new album Rocket Science which is out now on Frontiers Records. Check up the uplifting ‘Light This Party Up!’ here.

Treat have released their first official audio video the track ‘Inferno’ from their hotly anticipated new album Ghost of Graceland. Check it out below, it’s due out on Frontiers Records soon.

Brit Rockers Colour Of Noise have released an official video for the track ‘Can You Hear Me’. The band’s debut album is out now and are currently on the road in the UK with Toseland.

Claus Lessmann (Bonfire) and Michael Voss’s (Mad Max) new band Phantom V will release their debut album through Frontiers Records in May. The album will include the tracks ‘Someday’, ‘Renegade’, ‘Since You’re Gone’ and ‘Sing Along’. The sound of Phantom V has been likened to Fireworks era Bonfire with a dash of Frontline and Jaded Heart.

Joe Lynn Turner’s Sunstorm return with fourth album Edge Of Tomorrow in May on Frontiers Records. It will include the following songs ‘Heart Of The Storm’, ‘Angel Eyes’, ‘Burning Fire’ and ‘Everything You’ve Got’. Turner has stated this album will be a lot heavier but still very melodic.

Circus Maximus have released another official audio track for the song ‘Pages’. This is ahead of the band’s release of their forthcoming album Havoc on Frontiers Records.

Lords of Black have released another official audio video this time for the track ‘Ghost Of You’. It’s taken from their new album II which is out right now on Frontiers Records, check the video out here.

Swedish rockers Eclipse entered the Sweden Qualifiers for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The Band didn’t make it through but you can check out their live performance in the video below which was broadcast on Swedish Television.

Frontiers Records have signed Eternal idol the band was forged out of the ashes of Hollow Haze and should be melodic metal with symphonic and prog touches. Their debut should be recorded this coming summer with an early 2017 release on the cards.

The legend that is Meat Loaf will release his new album Braver Than We Are on September 9th and Meat once again works with Jim Steinmann but states to not expect another Bat Out Of Hell sound wise.

New Italian project Raintimes masterminded by Pierpaolo Monti and Davide Barbieri (Shining Line/Charming Grace) have announced who will be their singer. It’s none other than Canadian Michael Shotton of Von Groove, this marks a welcome return to the scene to the much loved genre vocalist. No release dates yet for the album which will pay homage to the sound of the ‘The Storm’ but in the meantime check out the teaser trailer below.

Z Records new band CODA which features Paul Sabu have had their debut pushed back to April 4th. If the first single ‘One Way To Love’ is anything to go by this should be a tasty album!

Hardline have announced shows in Spain and Italy for the end of May. The press releases allude to possibility of further shows, so there is potential for a UK show but outside of a Festival I can’t see it happening in the UK. Will keep my eyes peeled regardless.

Swede’s Jono have signed to Frontiers Records with a new album due from them in 2017. The band are described as a blend of Prog and AOR.

Dutch symphonic Metallers Stream Of Passion will be playing The Robin 2 in Bilston on Sunday 16th October support comes from local metal band Awake By Design.

Iconic Eye have announced another couple of shows a headline show at 02 Academy 3 in Birmingham on 30th of April and a co-headline show with Corvus at The Asylum 2 in Birmingham on 2nd of June.

Space Elevator and Cats In Space have teamed up for a joint headline tour in September including The River Rooms in Stourbridge on the 25th.

Swede’s Shotgun formally known as Shotgun Messiah will release a new live album through Cargo/Live wire Records on May 7th. Live Down Decadencia Drive features all the songs from the bands acclaimed debut album. Shotgun currently is Zinny J Zan (Vocals), Stixx (Drums) Rob Marcello (Guitars) and Chris Laney (Bass) who also produced and mastered the album.

Queensryche will be back in the UK for more live shows later this year including a show at The Robin, in Bilston on August 26th.

LA strip hard rock legends LA Guns have announced they will be playing The Robin in Bilston on May 29th. Support comes from Oliver Dawson’s Saxon and local sleaze rockers Shyyne.

Dante Fox are close to finishing their fifth album over the couple of weeks. So keep your eyes peeled for news in late spring, early summer. Fox Keyboardist Pete Lakin has also announced that due to personal commitments he has left the band.

PEO release Welcome To The Party on AOR Heaven on April 29th. Tracks set to be included are ‘The Promise’, ‘Break Another Heart’, ‘Love A Woman’ and ‘Dangerous’.

Billy Satellite release their long awaited second album II through AOR Heaven on April 29th. Songs to be included are ‘You and Me In The Night’, ‘Fantasy Girl’, ‘Secrets In Her Heart’ and ‘Final Stand’.

TEN have resigned with Frontiers Records for their next album which is set to be released in 2017. Frontiers have secured the rights to the bands entire catalogue and intend to release special edition versions in the future.
